Two types of Born again Christians

Author: Voice Of God Ministry  //  Category: Fundamental Truth

From the beginning of the creation satan gives us the wrong image of God and stillit is being continued,Angels don’t have birthdays. They don’t have mother or father, they were not born. God just made them, probably all at the same time. At the time God created them, they were complete and wonderful. They were never baby angels and they never had to grow up.

God created satan as one of the best and most beautiful angels, but instead of being thankful, Satan became proud. He thought he was better than everyone, even God.  Instead of loving God and doing what God planned, satan began to fight against God and made other angels sin. The problem isn’t that God will not forgive satan; the problem is that satan will not stop fighting against God. Still now he drags people to commit sin. God created all angels at once, so no angel was created first in time. “Praise ye Him, all His angels: praise ye Him, all His hosts…for He spoke and they were made. He commanded and they were created” (Psalm 148:2-5; Colossians 1:16-17)

Deceiving the God’s people -one of satan’s tricks

In Genesis 3 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Genesis 3.4-6 Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done? “The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” Genesis 3.-13 And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” Genesis 3.-23,hence, if they eat that they too will became evil and there is no possibility for salvation.

The trick used by satan inorder to deceive others is mixing the partial truth with lie. When God’s word says that in fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world.1 John 5.3-4 Satan will express and deceive us that all the commands are not easy to follow. Hence, one wrong decision taken by the woman, caused sin to enter into the world and they were instead of discerning with regard to ourselves, they began to judge others.Adam and his wife judged others,The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate,and Adam judge God by his word that the woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

So judging others is the sign of sin. But Jesus did not judge any one in his whole life, while on earth,Judge not, that ye be not judged.Matthew 7:1.In John.8 ..When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Beware of Deception

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” Matthew 24.3. And immediately Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. Matthew 24.4. So deceiving is the beginning and ending. This is one type where as another in 1.Corinthians Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise.

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness”; and again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile 1 Corinthians 3.18-20 According the decision taken by you and you will be. God made man freely to take any decision on his own but not for the angel hence we are the children of God.

Because of one mother (Eve’s) wrong decision in the beginning it has been creating problem till date. In Genesis 12, The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing I will bless those who bless you and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you. So Abram went, as the Lord had told him. Because of one right decision taken by Abram through him and all the peoples on earth became blessed and because of one wrong decision taken by his wife Sarai(not the perfect will of God ) the whole world  had to face the problem.

Hagar and Ishmael

Sarai, Abram’s wife, had borne him no children. But she had an Egyptian slave named Hagar;  so she said to Abram, “The Lord has kept me from having children. Go, sleep with my slave; perhaps I can build a family through her.

“Abram agreed to what Sarai said.  So after Abram had been living in Canaan ten years, Sarai his wife took her Egyptian slave Hagar and gave her to her husband to be his wife.  He slept with Hagar, and she conceived. Genesis 16…1-4…Now the family problem became the world problem between the two sons of Abraham.. Be it a small or big problem, your decision, this will build your life.

In, Gethsemane He went away a second time and prayed, “My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done.” Matthew 26.42 The Lord Jesus hesitated and not willing to face the three hour break of fellowship with His Father in cross.

Father in heaven may be answer this way, “My dear son if you are not willing for this, can your son David Samuel go to hell. (Put your name in the place of David Samuel)Jesus might have answered“sure, I will”.  Such His mighty decision saved us from falling into the hell. Thus the whole world became safe by Jesus Christ. Further Jesus was not afraid not dare to face the suffering on the cross, but instead he was much worried of His fellowship being broken with His Father for three hours, He meant this as the cup of suffering to be taken by the Father.

The Basic requirement

The Basic requirement of Every Christian is as Jesus Christ said at John 3:3.   Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.” Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”   It certainly appears that being “born again” is required by Christ in order for anyone to be a Christian and it is the will of God..

How about anointed Christians who partake of the Lords meal!  Are their Christians who are not required to partake of this? Jesus said at John 6:53, “Accordingly Jesus said to them: “Most truly I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in ourselves.” That sounds very clear does it not. Certainly this would be a requirement for all Christians partaking of the Lords meal.

More over Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God advised to follow strictly   “So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup.  For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on them.  That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep.

But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment. Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be finally condemned with the world”. 1 Corinthians 11.27-32. Hence one who doesn’t know the value of the blood of Lord Jesus Christ will misuse and lose their mighty salvation! You have to fulfill all the three steps otherwise it is merely unsuccessful to lead a healthy Christian life.

Two Types of Christians

The above mentioned are the two types of Christians. One, who cleans the outside of the Cup alone, will tend to love the honour by man and would seek the people’s recognition like Adonijah, and, Absalom son of David. Those who take more serious in cleansing both the sides of the cup always seek God’s recognition, to do the willing of God, accept the suffering for truth, the Lord in all his activities will honour you and would seek God’s recognition ineverything.

Those who neither bothered in cleansing outside nor the inner of the cup are not worthy to be called as a Christian. For Jesus said that God sends sunshine and rain on both the righteous and the unrighteous. (Matt. 5:45). Material blessing is therefore no sign of God’s approval on one’s life. Two million Israelites disobeyed God for forty years in the wilderness – so greatly that God was angry with them (Heb. 3:17). Yet God gave them food and healing throughout all those years – and that too miraculously (Deut. 8:2). Even miraculous answers to prayer in the physical realm are therefore no indication that God is happy with a person’s life.

As children of Adam, we are all born self-centered. We grow up expecting everything to revolve around us and to serve us. When we get converted, we expect God also to serve us and bless us in various ways. We come to Him initially to be blessed with His forgiveness, and then go on to seek the blessing of healing, answer to prayer, material prosperity, employment, housing, marriage partner, etc.

But it is possible for our lives to be self-centered still, even when we are deeply ‘religious’ in our own and other people’s eyes. God becomes just one more person in our ‘orbit’, and we seek to get what we can out of Him. The prodigal son came back in order to get food from his father; but the father still received him. God receives us even when our motives are utterly selfish.

He loves us so much that He longs to receive us even when we come to Him with an obviously self-centered motive. His hope however is that we will mature quickly to realise that true spirituality is to partake of His own nature, which is to give, rather than to receive. With the vast majority of His children, however, God is never able to realise that purpose. They live and die in their self-centeredness thinking only of ‘I’, ‘Me’ and ‘Mine’ and of material and physical blessings.

Decision made men character

According to the decision taken by your activities in cleansing of the outside of the cup or both inside and outside of the cup.. Our elder father and mother Adam and Eve took decision for the short time flush wishes and have no vision on Future long time. But our Lord Jesus takes vision on long time and furthers He save us from evil. The decision taken by you is for you not for others. No one can take decision for you. Dear beloved Brother and sister TAKE IT VERY SERIOUSLY.

In Matthew 23 Jesus quoted that, “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean. Matthew 23:25-26In the days of Jesus all the Pharisees were more interested to cleanse the outside carefully it ishypocrisy, So the first, is cleansing inside, likewise seeking the God’s kingdom first. Thereby we receive all things automatically and Jesus appreciates them for few things.

Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples:  “The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. Matthew 23.1-3 Jesus appreciate the teaching ‘to be careful in what you do’ and most importance part is not to do what they do. Mearly good doctrine is not enough which is easy to say,  but, Jesus began to do what He taught Acts 1,1 So the first is to do and second is to be taught,

Hence Paul says in Romans 2:21 you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal? And in 1 Corinthians 9:27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

Again Jesus appreciate give a tenth of the spices “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. Matthew 23:23

The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector

Few people who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable:  “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.  The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector.  I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’ “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’ Luck .18.9-13

Pharisee thanked God, fasted twice a week and give a tenth of all he got – very well cleansed the outside of the cup. ‘Then net result by Jesus “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”To merely have a testimony that `He was blessed by God’ is worth nothing; for millions of unbelievers too can have that testimony.

God looks for those who will seek His approval, and not just His blessing. Moreover in Matthew 5:20”For I say unto you, that except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.”The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, Act,1.1 Therefore first step is to do then next step is to teach,.

Jesus Warning people in various ways

“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to. Matthew 23:13,“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. Matthew 23:25“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which looks beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. Matthew 23:27

“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.  You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel. Matthew 23.23

For the clear understanding about cleansing the cup, differs in both Old and New Testament.  Jesus Illustrates about this in the beginning to the Sermon on the Mount.

Salt and Light

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

The Fulfilment of the Law

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfil them.  For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.  For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

“You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’  But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.

“Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you; leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.

“Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still together on the way, or your adversary may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison.  Truly I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny.

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.  And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.

“It has been said, ‘Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce. But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

“Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘Do not break your oath, but fulfil to the Lord the vows you have made.’  But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black.  All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.

Eye for Eye

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also.  And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well.  If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles.  Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.

Love for Enemies

You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbour and hate your enemy.’  But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.  If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?  Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Matthew 5.13-48

A holiness that still leaves us seeking our own comfort and convenience is a false holiness – even if we have overcome anger and dirty thoughts. This is what many have not realised; and hence Satan has been able to deceive them. Many Christians travel or migrate to different countries seeking conveniences and comfort and wealth.

They can still have God’s blessings upon their lives, but not God’s approval – for no one can serve both God and mammon (that is, wealth, pleasure, comfort, etc.). If we think that we possess God’s blessing on our lives and on our children is an indication that He is happy with us, this proves that Satan has truly deceived us. God’s blessing and God’s approval are two totally different things.

Forsaken the love you had at first. Follow the teaching of Balaam, lukewarm, are to be eliminated. Forgive yourself, forgive others, ask forgiven, not judge others, love others, help to the needed, away from love of money and honour are the signsof unclean inside cup.AndApostle Pauladvice, “if I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child; I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.1 Corinthians 13.1-13.“Salvation belongs to our God,who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb”. Praise and gloryand wisdom and thanks and honour and power and strengthbe to our God for ever and ever. The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,Act,1.1 Therefore first step is to do then next step is to teach,.

Those who are not to do in practical and teach are all similar to Pharisee. Now please judge yourself who you are. Jesus coated in Matthew 23:13.But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says!” The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.
