A spiritual man worships God.His one desire is God.He does not desire anything or anyone other than God in earth or in heaven (Ps. 73:25).

Let us see few people from the Scriptures.

Ballaam,  Gehazi (Who would have taken over and ordain be the next to Eliza). Eliza is the helper to Elijah. Gehazi is the helper to Eliza. He is to be supposed to next Eliza

Judas Iscariot, who was one of the apostles of Jesus, took care of all the financial work in the Ministry (Jesus and the twelve apostles). They do not follow any other God’s neither did they follow the earthen.

They were do the  Ministry just telling the Word of God and expecting the gifts offered by surrounding sources .They know Him personally and take part of His Holy Ministry, They are  religious one  but , not  Spiritual one..

Ballaam  who spoke the word of God for Israel died with sword by Israel. NUM31:8, “They slew the kings of Mid’ian, with the rest of their slain, Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba, the five kings of Midian; and they also slew Balaam the son of Be’or with the sword”

Gehazi  in 2  Kings 5:26, “…But he said to him, “Did I not go with you in spirit when the man turned from his chariot to meet you? Was it a time to accept money and garments, olive orchards and vineyards, sheep and oxen, menservants and maidservants? Therefore the leprosy of Na’aman  shall cleave to you ,and to your descendants forever” So he went out from his presence a leper, as white as snow.

Judas Iscariot  Matt 27.3-4 “ When Judas, his betrayer, saw that he was condemned, he repented and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders, saying, “I have sinned in betraying innocent blood.” They said, “What is innocent blood.” They said, “What is that to us? See to it yourself. And throwing down the pieces of silver in the temple, he departed; and he went and hanged himself.”

Now, it is easy to realized the meaning of religious person and a, Spiritual person. But, only the Spiritual Person can enter the Kingdom of God.

Nowadays the perception of the believers about the spiritual person is none but the one who is a `Master of Ceremonies’, who can conduct meetings in a lively way, make people to enjoy the preaching by making jokes and preach eloquently as well. Knowledge of the Scriptures, Gift of preaching and even the Gifts of the Spirit, do not constitute the real mark of spiritualism.   Satan is a full-time worker who is active day and night (Re. 12:9, 10).

He never takes a holiday or a break. He is always seeking for people whom he can accuse – and he has many helpers too!! He also has plenty of Bible- knowledge, for he quoted the Scriptures even to Jesus, he also has plenty of supernatural gifts, the zeal towards things, he has many co-workers, he has a great army following him and authority over many people, although he is not spiritual!

In  Numbers, Chapter 22:12, “God said to Balaam, “You shall not go with them; you shall not curse the people, for they are blessed” & Numbers 22:18 “But Ballam answered and said to the servants of Balak, “Though Balak were to give me his houseful of silver and gold, I could not go beyond the command of the Lord my God, to do less or more” and in Numbers Chapter 24 Explain  Ballaam,  wonderful Ministry of God,

In Num 24:24,end with  ”But ship shall come from Kittim and shall afflict Asshur and Eber; and he also shall come to destruction” to that in the next chapter Num.25. 1, “While Israel dwelt in Shittim the people began to play the harlot with the daughters of Moab”   Sin entered and 24,000 people died in Israel finally and they also slaughtered Ballaam the son of Be’or with the sword, NUM 31.8, “They slew the kings of Mid’ian, with the rest of their slain, Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba, the five kings of Midian; and they also slew Balaam the son of Be’or with the sword” Without the fear of God doing God’s Ministry is serious dangerous.

Most believers perceive that a man is spiritual if he is a good `Master of Ceremonies’ who conducts meetings in a lively way, entertain people with many jokes and preach eloquently as well. Knowledge of the Scriptures, Gift of preaching and even the Gifts of the Spirit having-all these, were not the real mark of spiritual.

And I Heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God”.

And in Rev.2.14,”But I have a few things against you: you have some there who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of  Israel, that they might eat food sacrifices  to idols and practice immorality” speaks about Balaam, a selfish Minister of God, who ministers for the benefit of his family and for his own benefits.

Ballaam does according to the will of God and would ask God and seek His guidance then and there, although he is not a spiritual person. The incident in Matt 24:3 – 4, “He sat on the Mont of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately saying, “Tell us when this will be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the close of the age?” And Jesus answered them, “Take heed that no one leads you astray.

Not everyone who says to me ‘LORD, LORD SHALL ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, BUT HE WHO DOES THE WILL OF FATHER who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me ‘LORD , LORD DID WE NO TPROPHESY IN YOUR NAME and cast out demons in your name and do many mighty works in your name? And then  will I  declare to  them, ’I never know you ,depart from me ,you evildoers’  Matt 7:22  Now it is clearly depicts that these are not a mark of Spiritual. Religious people never entire the Kingdom of God, Spiritual people is the one are eligible for the Kingdom of God.

People although they may not be a preacher, neither do they possess miraculous gifts, nor do they have Bible knowledge, but have Spiritual fruits will be considered as a spiritual False prophets would be identified by the lack of Divine fruit in their character (Mt. 7:15-20).Jesus during the Day of Judgment many would come before Him and say that they had prophesied and done miracles in His Name.

But He would reply that He never knew them (Mt 7:22, 23). They called Jesus “Lord” and had supernatural powers, but they were sinning. Now we come to a conclusion that people who take part in the Christian ceremonies (Bread breaking and other sacred ceremonies) and possess spiritual gifts do not make a man spiritual. In fact, they don’t preach about being born again, these are the reason that forced Jesus to say that, “I never knew you any time”

Annas, Gaiaphas who was a religious High Priest, though they were not a spiritual man, refer Matt14:9. In Mark 6:20, Herod knows he went to John the Baptist and had discussed with him and had asked his advice, Herod personally respected and adored John the Baptist. Though he was good he was not a Spiritual man and killed him Mark 6.25-26
