LOVE FOR EACH OTHER

Love is an emotion of a strong affection and personal attachment.

Love is also a virtue representing all of human kindness, compassion, and affection.

There is no fear in love. Perfect love puts fear out of our hearts. People have fear when they are afraid of being punished. The man who is afraid does not have perfect love 1 John 4:18

Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Human love in bible

For this reason a man will leave his father and his mother, and will be joined to his wife. And they will become one flesh.Genesis 2:24

Abraham love

God said, “Take now your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love. And go to the land of Moriah. Give him as a burnt gift on the altar in worship, on one of the mountains I will show you.”Genesis 22:2

Elkanah and Hannah love

On the day when Elkanah killed animals on the altar in worship, he would give part of the gift to his wife Peninnah and to all her sons and daughters. 5 But he would give twice as much to Hannah, for he loved Hannah 1 Samuel 1:5

Jacob and Rachel love

So Jacob went in to Rachel also. He loved Rachel more than Leah. And he worked for Laban seven years more.

Jonathan and David love

Jonathan made David promise again, by his love for him. For he loved him as he loved his own life. JESUS Martha and her sister and Lazarus LOVE Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus . Our friend Lazarus is sleeping. I will go and wake him up

GOD’S LOVE

The most famous Psalm in the entire Bible: “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want….” It’s a perfect picture of God’s love for His children, providing for their needs, keeping them safe from predators, and guiding them away from danger. Genesis 22:1-3 God’s love” in the Bible: Romans 8:38-39

No power on earth or heaven can separate us from God’s love. Not our sin, not any authority, not any spiritual force. God’s love is unshakable and can always be relied upon.

Sparrow” in the Bible:
It’s hard to think of a more diminutive or unimposing creature than the sparrow. But if God cares about even a creature as humble as the sparrow, doesn’t it follow that His love for the human beings He created would be infinitely greater. Matthew 10:29-31

Hebrew The Prodigal Son

Your brother was dead and now he is alive again. He was lost and now he is found.’”

And Jesus said, “There was a man who had two sons.  The younger son said to his father, ‘Father, let me have the part of the family riches that will be coming to me.’ Then the father divided all that he owned between his two sons.  Soon after that the younger son took all that had been given to him and went to another country far away.

There he spent all he had on wild and foolish living.  When all his money was spent, he was hungry. There was no food in the land.  He went to work for a man in this far away country. His work was to feed pigs.  He was so hungry he was ready to eat the outside part of the ears of the corn the pigs ate because no one gave him anything.

“He began to think about what he had done. He said to himself, ‘My father pays many men who work for him. They have all the food they want and more than enough. I am about dead because I am so hungry.  I will get up and go to my father. I will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am not good enough to be called your son. But may I be as one of the workmen you pay to work?”’

“The son got up and went to his father. While he was yet a long way off, his father saw him. The father was full of loving-pity for him. He ran and threw his arms around him and kissed him.  The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.

I am not good enough to be called your son.’ But the father said to the workmen he owned, ‘Hurry! Get the best coat and put it on him. Put a ring on his hand and shoes on his feet.  Bring the calf that is fat and kill it. Let us eat and be glad.  For my son was dead and now he is alive again. He was lost and now he is found. Let us eat and have a good time.’

“The older son was out in the field. As he was coming near the house, he heard music and dancing.  He called one of the servants and asked what was happening.  The servant answered, ‘Your brother has come back and your father has killed the fat calf. Your brother is in the house and is well.’  The older brother was angry and would not go into the house.

His father went outside and asked him to come in.  The older son said to his father, ‘All these many years I have served you. I have always obeyed what you said. But you never gave me a young goat so I could have a supper and a good time with my friends.  But as soon as this son of yours came back, you killed the fat calf. And yet he wasted your money with bad women.’

“The father said to him, ‘My son, you are with me all the time. All that I have is yours.  It is right and good that we should have a good time and be glad. Your brother was dead and now he is alive again. He was lost and now he is found.’”

Jesus tells about a shepherd who left his 99 sheep & found the missing one. He tells about a woman who lost 1 of her 10 coins & looked for it. He tells about a prodigal son who leaves home and spends all he has. When he comes home his father welcomes him. This is how God loves sinners.

Love of God” in the Bible: Romans 8:38-39

In one of the most reassuring passages in the Bible, we learn that no power on earth or heaven can come between us and God’s love–no person, no spiritual power, and not even death itself.

The Word brought nigh to the sorrowful – A.Bonar
Our errand being one of grace, the Lord will hear us when we ask his presence in it. Now, his Spirit is not “the spirit of fear:” it is the “spirit of love, and of power, and of a sound mind” (2 Tim. 1:7).

IT speaks in Galatians about love, the fruit of the Spirit being love, joy, peace, gentleness, long suffering, meekness and temperance. The way this writer has put it — and I think it is very beautiful — is that joy is love exultant, peace is love in repose, and long suffering…

Love your neighbor

Jesus summarizes the entirety of God’s law in two simple commands: love God, and love your neighbor. Love for our neighbor should flow naturally out of our love for God.Matthew 22:37-40

Jesus tells

Jesus tells a parable about what it means to love your neighbor. A man traveling from Jerusalem to Jericho is attacked by thieves who rob him and leave him for dead. A priest and a Levite both pass by. A Samaritan helps him, showing he loves his neighbor. We should do the same.

ANOINTING  Of Jesus,  love

There was a woman in the city who was a sinner. She knew Jesus was eating in the house of the proud religious law-keeper. She brought a jar of special perfume. 38 Then she stood behind Him by His feet and cried. Her tears wet His feet and she dried them with her hair. She kissed His feet and put the special perfume on them. -Luke 7:37,38,46

We know we have passed from death into life. We know this because we love the Christians. The person who does not love has not passed from death into life. 15 A man who hates his brother is a killer in his heart. You know that life which lasts forever is not in one who kills. 1 John 3:14,

 Song of Solomon

A friend loves at all times. A brother is born to share troubles -Proverbs 17:17

O that you were like a brother to me -Song of Solomon 8:1

Reuben’s love for Joseph

But Reuben heard this and saved him from their hands, saying, “Let us not kill him.”  Reuben then said, “Do not put him to death. Throw him into this hole here in the desert. But do not lay a hand on him.” He wanted to be able to save Joseph and return him to his father.Genesis 37:21,22

Finally,

The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”Mark 12:31

And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.Luke 6:31

Jesus word

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.Luke 6:35 Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.Romans 12:9 Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.Romans 13:10

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.  Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.

Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.1 Corinthians 13:4-8 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,

Ephesians 4:2 Above all, love one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.1 John 4:7

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.  We love because he first loved us.1 John 4:18-19

Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.John 15:13 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, Ephesians 5:25 However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.Ephesians 5:33 And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.Colossians 3:14 Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses. Proverbs 10:12

By this we know love that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.  But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him?  Little children, let us not love in word or talk but indeed and in truth.

1 John 3:16-18 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.John 3:16I love you, O LORD, my strength. Psalm 18:1

“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.Matthew 6:24

And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the great and first commandment.  And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.Matthew 22:37-39

and they love the place of honor at feasts and the best seats in the synagogues  and greetings in the marketplaces and being called rabbi by others.  But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are all brothers.Matthew 23:6-8

LET WE LOVE ONE ANOTHER .LOVE FOR EACH OTHER

AMEN
