The Real follower of Jesus
The First Disciples
One day as Jesus was walking along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers—Simon, also called Peter, and Andrew—throwing a net into the water, for they fished for a living. Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” And they left their nets at once and followed him.
A little farther up the shore he saw two other brothers, James and John, sitting in a boat with their father, Zebedee, repairing their nets. And he called them to come, too. They immediately followed him, leaving the boat and their father behind.(Matthew 4:18.22)
The Cost of Following Jesus
When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he instructed his disciples to cross to the other side of the lake. Then one of the teachers of religious law said to him, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.” But Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens to live in, and birds have nests, but the Son of Man[e] has no place even to lay his head.” Another of his disciples said, “Lord, first let me return home and bury my father.”

But Jesus told him, “Follow me now. Let the spiritually dead bury their own dead.[” (Matthew 8:22)
He said to another man, “Follow me.” But the man replied, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.” Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.” Still another said, “I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say good-by to my family.” Jesus replied, “No one who puts his hand to the plough and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” (Luke 9:59-62)

As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him. (Matthew 9:9)
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. (Matthew 16:24-25)
The Rich Man
Someone came to Jesus with this question: “Teacher, what good deed must I do to have eternal life?” “Why ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. But to answer your question—if you want to receive eternal life, keep the commandments.”
“Which ones?” the man asked. And Jesus replied: “‘You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. Honour your father and mother. Love your neighbour as yourself.’”
“I’ve obeyed all these commandments,” the young man replied. “What else must I do?”
Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” (Matthew 19:21)
But when the young man heard this, he went away sad, for he had many possessions.
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it is very hard for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I’ll say it again—it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!”
The disciples were astounded. “Then who in the world can be saved?” they asked. Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”
Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?” Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. (Matthew 19:27-28)
As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax collector’s booth.

“Follow me,”Jesus told him, and Levi got up and followed him. (Mark 2:14)
and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon’s partners. Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will catch men.” So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him. (Luke 5:10-11)
The real servant of God
True Disciples
“Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.
Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it. (Mark 8:34-35)
Then he said to them all: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. (Luke 9:23-24)
“Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. (Matthew 10:37-38)
Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” (Mark 10:21)
But many of us nowadays show the word of God with dark mind and get from poor and buy everything is not a mark of real servant of God. The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip, he said to him, “Follow me.” (John 1:43)
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12) The real servant of God follow Jesus footstep only. He never ask anything for his own honour throughout his mighty ministries.
“If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters–yes, even his own life–he cannot be my disciple. And anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple. (Luke 14:26-27)
When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor,( not even to his Ministries)and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” (Luke 18:22)
The next day John was there again with two of his disciples. When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, “Look, the Lamb of God!” When the two disciples heard him say this, they followed Jesus. (John 1:35-37)
Why Jesus came
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. (1 Corinthians 15:6)
Is Jesus God? The answer to this question is the only real dispute surrounding the historical Jesus.

No legitimate scholar today denies that Jesus is a historic figure that walked on this earth about 2,000 years ago, that he did remarkable wonders and acts of charity, and that He died a horrible death on a Roman cross just outside Jerusalem. The emotionally-charged dispute focuses specifically on whether Jesus was God incarnate who rose from the dead three days after His Crucifixion.
Is Jesus God? The Only Alternatives
Is Jesus God? Many people have dealt with this “spiritual” dispute by intellectually accepting Jesus as a great man, great teacher, or great prophet. However, Jesus and His inspired followers didn’t mince words when they declared Him to be God (John 10:30-38, Matthew 16:13-17, Mark 14:61-64, John 14:6, Hebrews 1:8, Colossians 1:16, John 12:40-41 [quoting Isaiah 6:1-10]). Therefore, any type of intellectual compromise calling Jesus a “good man” is logically inconsistent.

Why? Because there are really only three legitimate alternatives for the identity of Jesus Christ. He is either a liar, a lunatic or our Lord and God. Since Jesus claimed to be God, His claims are either true or false. If false, He must have been a liar, deliberately misleading the multitudes. Or, He was a lunatic, sincerely believing Himself to be God, when in reality He was just a man.

However, if Jesus was a “good man,” as most people now agree, how then could He be both good and crazy, or good and a liar? There is only one logically consistent alternative – He must have been telling the truth. In addition to the logical inconsistency, the remarkable historical, archaeological and manuscript evidence shows that Jesus was neither a liar nor a lunatic. Again, the only position left is that His claim is true. Jesus is Lord and God.
The only real argument that remains, is that Jesus was just a legend or myth. There is little likelihood that Jesus’ claims are legend. There just wasn’t enough time for any legendary development of the story to replace what really happened. For instance, we now know that the Gospels were written 30 to 50 years after the crucifixion of Jesus. More dramatically, we now date some of the early Christian creeds, proclaiming the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, to 3 to 10 years after His crucifixion.

This includes Paul’s letters to the Corinthians, Romans and Galatians. Finally, if Jesus’ claim of deity was a myth, the early Jewish opponents of Christianity would surely have presented the fact that these claims never happened. Unlike modern skeptics, the Jewish rabbis never denied that Jesus made the claim that He was God. Instead, they called Him a liar, and tried Him for blasphemy
CONCLUSION

So, we can see that Jesus and others made numerous claims that He was God in human flesh. However, making the claim in itself does not automatically make a person God. Many crazy people have claimed to have been God. Let’s examine the evidence that, in fact, Jesus is God. Read more…

THE REAL PICTURE OF GOD

Who is God?
According to Christianity, God is the self-existent One, having no need of being created, since He has existed forever and is the cause of all things, including the dimension of time, to which He is not subject (see If God Created Everything, Who Created God?). Likewise, God is not subject to the physical creation, but is spiritual in nature, residing in the spiritual dimensions of heaven. Read more…

Why did Jesus came to this Earth from Heaven

Dear loving beloved loving Brothers and sister!
Happy to see you again in this Christmas Eve through this small message. In Christ I hope that this message will be useful for you and your family.
He (Jesus) came into the very world he created, but the world didn’t recognize him. He came to his own people, and even they rejected him. But to all who believed him and accepted Him, he gave the right to become children of God.

They are reborn not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God. So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son. John 1:10-14 Then,Why Jesus came to this Earth from Heaven

The following are the major reason why the Almighty Creator became as a creation among his own creation. .

  1.   To forgive our sin through our repentance and to be Born Again in Christ  To release us from Backsliding
  2.  To receive His (God) Divine Nature.
  3.   To live with God in eternity for ever
  4.   To have a thick relationship and to became one like Jesus and His Father with Him.
  5.   To praise and worship the Lord and give thanks for all his willing happens in our life. In spiritual relationship with God.

1. To forgive our sin through our repentance and to be Born Again in Christ
There are two opposing facts that have existed since the fall of man in Genesis chapter three, and God alone can reconcile these. The first is that God is holy and hates sin, and that by His holy law the wages of sin is death.

The solution to this problem was that God so loved that He gave His only begotten Son to die in the sinner’s place. The Son so loved that He offered Himself to bear our sins in His own body on the cross. He, who knew no sin, was made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (II Cor. 5:21).

We are sinners by nature and by choice (Rom. 8:7-8), so the Lord Jesus Christ came into the world to redeem us to God with His precious blood (I Pet. 1:18-19). We sense that separation, that distance from God because of our sin.

The Bible tells us that “All of us like sheep have gone astray; each of us has turned to his own way.” Isaiah 53:6The result of sin in our lives is death — spiritual separation from God. Romans 6:23 although we may try to get close to God through our own effort, we inevitably fail.

We may try to do good things in life, or earn God’s acceptance through a good life or a moral philosophy. But our good efforts are insufficient to cover up our sin. Jesus not only born and died for our sin, he rose from the dead.

8 When he did, he proved beyond doubt that he can rightfully promise eternal life that he is the Son of God and the only means by which we can know God. That is why Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life; no one can come to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

The Jews thought that the ruler of Israel willbe born in the line of kings, in a big city, in the king’s palace. But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, are only a small village among all the people of Judah.

Yet a ruler of Israel will come from you, one whose origins are from the distant past Micah 5: 2. David was crowned here only as King where Jesus Christ was born in this Place. Though Jerusalem seemed to be a small place God had greater plans for it. But God wanted Jesus to be born in a very small town named Bethlehem.

People are being told only to believe in Jesus. But believing in Jesus alone will not save anyone, if they do not repent. God’s Word says, “As many as received Christ, to them He gave the right to become the children of God” (John 1:12). The Lord Jesus says, I will never reject anyone who comes to Me” (John 6:37 So what must you do to be born again?

First of all, acknowledge that you are a sinner. Don’t compare yourself with others and find any comfort in imagining that you are better than them. Sin is like a deadly poison. Whether you drink one drop or a hundred drops of poison, you still die. So, if you want to make a good start in your Christian life, acknowledge that you are no better than the worst sinner in the world. Then decide to turn from all known sin in your life.

This is the best life you can ever live, because you gradually eliminate everything bad from your life and become more and more like God as each year goes by. Jesus used the expression “born again ” in John 3:3, when speaking to Nicodemus who was a religious leader and a God-fearing man who lived uprightly.

Yet Jesus told him, “Unless you are born again you cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). So we see that to enter God’s kingdom you need to have a spiritual birth, even if you are a very good man! Jesus then told him that He (Jesus) would be lifted up on a cross to die and that those who believed in Him would receive eternal life (John 3:14,16).

2. To release us from Backsliding
The Bible says that one of the signs of the end-times will be a great apostasy (falling away from the faith) (2 Thess.2:3). Backsliding has become a very common feature in all churches now “The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways.” – Prov. 14:14.

Your wickedness will bring its own punishment. Your turning from me will shame you. You will see what an evil, bitter thing it is to abandon the LORD your God and not to fear him. I, the Lord, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, have spoken! “Long ago I broke the yoke that oppressed you and tore away the chains of your slavery, but still you said, ‘I will not serve you.

’On every hill and under every green tree, you have prostituted yourselves by bowing down to idols. But I was the one who planted you, – Jer. 2:19-20 Men who write books about their heroes make much of their good points, and gloss over or excuse their sins and failures. Men who write books about their enemies make much of their sins and failures, and gloss over their good qualities.

But the Bible, written by an honest and holy God, simply tells the truth about mankind. We are a race of sinners, and the best men that ever lived still sinned
The problem of sin is still prevails among the Christians, as real as when they were unsaved. I find everywhere I go defeated Christians, sad Christians who fear that God has forsaken them or who doubt that they were ever saved. The problem of backsliding is ever with us.

So I have prepared this Bible message to show. What is a backslider, why people backslide, the sorrows and punishment of backsliding, to show that the true backslider is really saved, and to show how any Christian who has fallen into sin can get back into full fellowship with God and have the joy of his salvation restored
A backslider is a saved person who falls into sin. A lost sinner cannot be a backslider.

You have to go somewhere before you can slide back. But one who is truly born again, a child of God who falls into sin, is a backslider. It may be outrageous and gross sin known to everyone or it may be merely coldness of heart, a lukewarmness of heart instead of the burning fire of love for God.

But when a Christian loses any of his joy, or loses part of his sweet fellowship with God, or falls into sin, then he is a backslider. Remember that only Christians can backslide. A marriage is forever and not just for a few days. In the same way, being a Christian also is a lifetime commitment.

Total commitment to Christ, does not mean that you have become perfect. When a woman gets married, she does not promise that she will never make a mistake in her life. She will make many mistakes, but her husband will forgive her. But she promises that she is going to live with her husband forever. That is a picture of our union with Christ.

We have many examples of this in the Bible. What an honest Book the Bible is to tell us of the failures and sins of God’s people through the ages! God wanted us to know that the men of the realest faith, saints who had truly been born again, were frail people such as we are and subject to the same temptations and surrendering sometimes to the same sins.

God tells how Noah got drunk and lay naked in his tent. He tells how Lot sought the fellowship of the wicked Sodomites, lost all his influence, got drunk and ruined his own daughters. The Bible tells how Abraham deceived, calling Sarah his sister.

Even saintly Moses lost his temper. When God commanded him to speak to the rock that Israel might be watered from it a second time, in a temper he beat upon it with his rod and so dishonoured God that he lost his chance to enter the Promised Land.

David, a man after God’s own heart, a man used to write the Psalms, that blessed book of devotions for the saints through all these centuries, committed adultery with Bathsheba and then had her husband Uriah slain to hide his sin. The Bible tells how Samson, a judge of Israel who had been filled with the Holy Ghost and was a Nazarene from his birth, kept company with harlots until God left him powerless, a slave of the Philistines with his eyes burned out.

The Bible tells how Peter denied Christ and cursed and swore; how all the disciples forsook Jesus and fled; how later Peter, fearing the Jewish Christians, played the coward again, and led even good Barnabas away with his dissimulations. The Bible tells how Joseph of Arimathea, a disciple of Jesus, was a coward, a secret disciple. Even Paul the apostle went up to Jerusalem against the plain leading of the Holy Spirit.

So the saints of the Bible fell into sin. They were backsliders. These examples should humble us and teach us that even the mightiest of God’s saints sometimes backslide, fall into sin, and so lose the sweet joy that every Christian ought to have. These examples should humble us and teach us that even the mightiest of God’s saints sometimes backslide, fall into sin, and so lose the sweet joy that every Christian ought to have.

A Christian who backslides is like a child who disobeys his parents. It does not affect his sonship but it affects his fellowship, his joy, and the approval of the Father.

So God whips every backslider, and He does it in love. He does it to correct their backsliding and to bring “the peaceable fruit of righteousness” in His children.
I love my children so much that I want them to do right and be happy and succeed in the Christian life. So sometimes I have to whip them for their disobedience.

It is painful, but it is done in love and for their good, and at the last it “yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness.” For David’s sin, God smote his child and the baby died. One son, Amnon, raped his sister, Tamar. Then Absalom killed Amnon, then he grew embittered and tried to seize the kingdom from David. David paid fourfold for his sin, but David did not lose his soul. When David confessed his sin, God’s message came to him.

“And Nathan said unto David, The Lord also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die. Howbeit, because by this deed thou bast given great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die”. David was a backslider.

God forgave his backsliding but still punished him for his sin Jesus came not only for forgiveness and also to release the backslider. It is not to leave the match while running, but it is the matter of continuing it, to attain the destination. If anyone fails in any one subject, he does not quit his studies; instead he tries again to clear it. The Christian life is like a race.

When we turn our back to sin and are born again, we come to the starting line of this race. Then begins a marathon race – until the end of our life. We run and run and run. And thus we get closer and closer to the finishing line each day. But we must never stop running. When we are born again, we lay the foundation for our house. After that we slowly build the superstructure – and this consists of many floors. The foundation is being born again. We must all begin there.

In Hosea 11, God Cries for the backslider with atmost love and kind “But since my people refuse to return to me they will return to Egypt and will be forced to serve Assyria.

War will swirl through their cities; their enemies will crash through their gates. They will destroy them, trapping them in their own evil plans. For my people are determined to desert me. They call me the Most High, but they don’t truly honour me.

“Oh, how can I give you up, Israel? How can I let you go? How can I destroy you like Admah.or demolish you like Zeboiim? My heart is torn within me, and my compassion overflows. No, I will not unleash my fierce anger. I will not completely destroy Israel, for I am God and not a mere mortal. I am the Holy One living among you, and I will not come to destroy.

For someday the people will follow me. I, the Lord, will roar like a lion. And when I roar, my people will return trembling from the west.11 Like a flock of birds, they will come from Egypt. Trembling like doves, they will return from Assyria. And I will bring them home again,” says the Lord.

Revelation 3 -19-21, says; I correct and discipline everyone I love. So be diligent and turn from your indifference. “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne.

3. To receive His (God) Divine Nature.
John 1.18-20 says, From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another. For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for hemaketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Be ye therefore perfect, even as you’re Father which is in heaven is perfect. Math. 5.48. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. I and my Father are one. John. 10-30.If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. John 10.37 God wants to get a close relationship with us.

Our Heavenly Father wants us as He present. Jesus motivation also same like this and this is our Goal dear. If you try along with Holy Spirit it will be very easy. Lord will lead you.

4. To live in eternity for ever with Him
God created us Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”1 John 3:16. In Matthew 18:8 Jesus says,

“So if your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It’s better to enter eternal life with only one hand or one foot than to be thrown into eternal fire with both of your hands and feet. And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It’s better to enter eternal life with only 30one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell”.

Matthew19:28 “And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or property, for my sake, will receive a hundred times as much in return and will inherit eternal life”.

5. To became one like Jesus and His Father with Him
In John 17.-18 -24 Jesus prays to our Father , “Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world. And I give myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth. “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message.

I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me; I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me.

May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me. Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began! That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ 1-John 1-3.

6. To praise and worship the Lord with all thy heart,
In song 147, 148 & 150 are the special Praising song by the King David and in. Jeremiah 13-11. So I created Judah and Israel to cling to me, says the Lord. They were to be my people, my pride, my glory—an honour to my name. But they would not listen to me.

Once again you will have all the food you want, and you will praise the Lord your God, who does these miracles for you. Never again will my people be disgraced. Then you will know that I am among my people Israel that I am the Lord your God, and there is no other. Never again will my people be disgraced.

The Lord’s Promise of His Spirit “Then, after doing all those things, I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions. In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on servants—men and women alike. Joel 2.26-29.Let we praise the Lord with our, with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

May your heart be lifted with praises in this Christmas Eve for the wonderful gift ‘Jesus’ and the joy He brings in our life. May your Christmas be wrapped in Joy and filled with Love. God loves us so much that he gave us one of the greatest joys ever, his own son. Let us promise to love and honour him always.

May the sadness and gloom in your life be replaced with never ending happiness and cheer!May this Christmas burn away all your sadness and bury the tears so that your life is perpetually filled with happiness and joy. Smile my dear, for the season of Christmas has finally arrived here!

Here’s wishing you a Merry Christmas and a best wishes for Peace, Health and Happiness throughout the coming New Year!Have a wonderful Christmas and be blessed. Amen With lots of prayers,

Bro. David Samuel

God’s plan is the best
The Bible teaches that God has a specific plan for each of our lives (Eph. 2:10). He has planned a career for us, chosen a life-partner for us and even planned where we should live and what we should do each day. In every case, His choice must be the best, for He knows us so well and He takes every factor into consideration. It is wisest then to seek His will in all matters – major as well as minor. LUST AND PRIDE

Faith and Humility is the root of spiritual life

Faithfrom the Scriptures
God has given us many good and bad examples in the Scriptures, in this connection. A wise man will learn from all of them. .But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him
Enoch and Noah
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith .Hebrews :11.7
Enoch and Noah are the first two preachers mentioned in the Bible, and they both walked in faith with God. Noah supported himself and his family, and served the Lord. He had to put in extra hours of work and sales all his property to earn the money needed to build the ark; but he did that gladly.
Most Christian workers feel that if they do God’s work, someone else must pay them for that! For their children’s education or to buy a gold chain to satisfy their wife they never expect anything from other, but Noah didn’t think like that.by faith.. If, as Jesus said, the last days are going to be evil like in Noah’s time, then God must be needing many Noahs in the last days too – men who, like the apostle Paul, support themselves and serve the Lord..

It was God who shut the door of the ark, not Noah. God will also shut the door of salvation one day when the time is up for entering God’s kingdom. Please take care dear friend.. Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Gen. 22.1-14
ABRAHAM
By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son. Hebrew. 11.17. For we walk by faith, not by sight 2. Corin..5:7.

Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham .Galatian 3-7 Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints. Consider Abraham: “He believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”

.(Galati. 3.6) and he was called the Friend of God. 2 Chr. 20.7
Abraham never grabbed the good land, when there was a conflict between his servants and Lot’s servants. He allowed Lot to choose first. Lot immediately grabbed the better land (Gen.13:10), but suffered greatly as a result. Abraham gave up his rights. So God gave Abraham all the land through his faith on him. Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Gen. 22.1-14.
MOSES
Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt:and I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Per’izzites, and the Hivites, and the Jeb’usites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey, (Ex.3:16-17). The land of the Canaanites..

God made two promises to the elders of Israel in Egypt: “I will bring you out of the land of Egypt and into the land of the Canaanites.” But only the first one was fulfilled and the second was not fulfilled. None of those elders entered Canaan – because they did not respond in faith when the time came to enter Canaan (Numbers 13). God’s promises are not fulfilled, until we respond in faith.

God’s promise and our faith are like two side of coin. . You may hear about God’s promise and understand it. But it is only when your faith reaches out and says, “Yes, I believe that will be fulfilled in my life,” that the promise will be fulfilled. At the borders of Canaan, only Joshua and Caleb believed God’s promise, and so only they entered the promised land..
My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. Number 12.7 And Moses verily was faithful in his entire house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after Hebrew 3.5. But, none of those elders entered Canaan – because they did not respond in faith when the time came to enter Canaan.

.”Not a man of this evil generation shall see the good land I swore to give your forefathers, except Caleb son of Jephunneh. He will see it, and I will give him and his descendants the land he set his feet on, because he followed the LORD wholeheartedly.” Deuteronomy1:34-36
KING DAVID
David never grabbed the kingdom from Saul, even though God had anointed David as king. God tested David for many years, on this very point. But not once would David grab the kingdom. He waited for God to give it to Him with faith on God. And God gave it to him, at the right time. Hence .he said that..
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.pas.27.13 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted: Pas116.10 But, Absalom however was different.

He was jealous of his father David’s popularity and worked shrewdly and cleverly behind his back and “stole away the hearts of the men of Israel” from his father (2 Sam.15:16). Then he drove his father out and became king. But God brought his kingdom to a quick Our elder Brother And our Lord Jesus Christ
Jesus was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in his entire house Hebrew 3.2. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. Mark 11-12 and he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace luck 7-50. Jesus never schemed or grabbed.

He never flattered people to earn their support. He never compelled people to join His group. His attitude at all times was, “All that the Father gives me SHALL come to Me” (John 6:37). He did not have a lust to disciple large numbers, or to have many people in his “church”. He was satisfied with the few whom the Father had given him. All of us too should be satisfied with “those whom the Father gives us”.
Jesus drew people. He never dragged them or grabbed them. He said, “If I am lifted up, I will draw men to Myself” (Jn.12:32).

We too are called to lift up the crucified Christ and thus to draw people to Him. But only a crucified man can lift up a crucified Christ properly. A man whose hands are nailed to the cross cannot grab or drag anyone!! He can only draw!! The problem in Christendom today is that uncrucified people are trying to lift up a crucified Christ.

Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness Ttitus1.1 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Ephes;2.8 May the Lord help us to keep our faces in the dust and to learn His ways end.
Faith without works
What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble
But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder. You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar?

You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend. You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone. James: 2:14-24.For any coin is to be value only if it’s value is identified. If there is no mark of the value then it is not a value one. Faith without work is also like that meaning less only.
Humility
Wisdom’s instruction is to fear the LORD, and humility comes before honour and God opposes the proud but shows favour to the humble. James 4:6 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death even death on a cross. Philippians 2:8

In king Ahab life willingness to Receive Correction.
King Ahab to satisfy his wife do many things against the God. Then God’s judgement came. During the conversation Ahab said to Elijah, “So you have found me, my enemy!”. “I have found you,” he answered, “because you have sold yourself to do evil in the eyes of the Lord. He says, ‘I am going to bring disaster on you.

I will wipe out your descendants and cut off from Ahab every last male in Israel—slave or free. I will make your house like that of Jeroboam son of Nebat and that of Baasha son of Ahijah, because you have aroused my anger and have caused Israel to sin.’ “And also concerning Jezebel the Lord says: ‘Dogs will devour Jezebel by the wall of[b] Jezreel.’ “Dogs will eat those belonging to Ahab who die in the city, and the birds will feed on those who die in the country.

There was never anyone like Ahab, who sold himself to do evil in the eyes of the Lord, urged on by Jezebel his wife. He behaved in the vilest manner by going after idols, like the Amorites the Lord drove out before Israel.
When Ahab heard these words, he tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and fasted. He lay in sackcloth and went around meekly. Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah the Tishbite: “Have you noticed how Ahab has humbled himself before me? Because he has humbled himself, I will not bring this disaster in his day, but I will bring it on his house in the days of his son.” 1 king21
Solomon’s life unwillingness to Receive Correction
King Solomon, however, loved many foreign women besides Pharaoh’s daughter—Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians and Hittites. They were from nations about which the Lord had told the Israelites, “You must not intermarry with them, because they will surely turn your hearts after their gods.”

Nevertheless, Solomon held fast to them in love As Solomon grew old, his wives turned his heart after other gods, and his heart was not fully devoted to the Lord his God, as the heart of David his father had been. He followed Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and Molek the detestable god of the Ammonites.

So Solomon did evil in the eyes of the Lord; he did not follow the Lord completely, as David his father had done. On a hill east of Jerusalem, Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the detestable god of Moab, and for Molek the detestable god of the Ammonites. He did the same for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and offered sacrifices to their gods.

The Lord became angry with Solomon because his heart had turned away from the Lord, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice. Although he had forbidden Solomon to follow other gods, Solomon did not keep the Lord’s command. So the Lord said to Solomon, “Since this is your attitude and you have not kept my covenant and my decrees, which commanded you, I will most certainly tear the kingdom away from you and give it to one of your subordinates.

Nevertheless, for the sake of David your father, I will not do it during your lifetime. I will tear it out of the hand of your son. Yet I will not tear the whole kingdom from him, but will give him one tribe for the sake of David my servant and for the sake of Jerusalem, which I have chosen.” Hence the Holy sprit reject his name of believer in the new testament.
All of the above, Solomon not willing to humble and unwillingness to Receive Correction. As well as Solomon’s son, King Rehoboam sought popularity with the young people in his land and did not listen to the counsel of his elders. This was what led to the division of Israel.
In the king A Manasseh life willingness to Receive Correction
He did much evil in the eyes of the Lord, arousing his anger. The Lord spoke to Manasseh and his people, but they paid no attention. So the Lord brought against them the army commanders of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh prisoner, put a hook in his nose, bound him with bronze shackles and took him to Babylon.

In his distress he sought the favour of the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his ancestors. And when he prayed to him, the Lord was moved by his entreaty and listened to his plea; so he brought him back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord is God.
In the life of Ammon King of Judah, unwillingness to Receive Correction
Ammon was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem two years. He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, as his father Manasseh had done. Ammon worshiped and offered sacrifices to all the idols Manasseh had made.

But unlike his father Manasseh, he did not humble himself before the Lord; Ammon increased his guilt. Ammon’s officials conspired against him and assassinated him in his palace. Then the people of the land killed all who had plotted against King Ammon, and they made Josiah his son king in his place. That’s his entire end.

In the life of Belshazzar King ,unwillingness to Receive Correction
Nebuchadnezzar was driven away from people and given the mind of an animal; he lived with the wild donkeys and ate grass like the ox; and his body was drenched with the dew of heaven, until he acknowledged that the Most High God is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and sets over them anyone he wishes.
“But, Belshazzar, have not humbled himself, though he knew all this. Instead, he have set himself up against the Lord of heaven. Heu had the goblets from his temple brought to him, and he and his nobles, his wives and his concubines drank wine from them. He praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or understand. But he did not honour the God who holds in his hand his life and all his ways. Therefore God sent the hand that wrote the inscription.
“This is the inscription that was written:
mene, mene, tekel, parsin
“Here is what these words mean:
Mene: God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end.
Tekel: You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting.
Peres: Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.”
Then at Belshazzar’s command, Daniel was clothed in purple, a gold chain was placed around his neck, and he was proclaimed the third highest ruler in the kingdom. That very night Belshazzar, king of the Babylonians, was slain, and Darius the Mede took over the kingdom, at the age of sixty-two.
May the Lord help us to understand the God’s plan for us. Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen
